But noticed that the spring end that grips over the over center mech. scratches the GM 4 plate because of the close distance between them. (And yes, I will polish out that scratch and have it re-anodized) I have two options a) Cut this end off or grind it away, or b) Use the old springs. I do like the redundancy of the old 2 spring system, but don't care much for the looks. Did anyone have a similar spacing problem, or ideas on a fix.
