I have 235 airframe but since the top of this page has 235, 320, & 360 I assume this applies to all three??? I'm in the process of moving the battery to the firewall (from the rear baggage bulkhead) to get the worst case fwd CG up to the fwd limit. (This would be with the pilot, no fuel in wings and a full header tank.) As I understand it, this will allow the most fuel, heaviest passanger and or the most baggage to be hauled before exceeding the aft CG. Then I would ans question 1: Yes I would do what is required to get the empty CG fwd of the fwd limit since anything added to the airframe will only move the CG aft. Question 2: I am going to actually weigh the aircraft with fuel in the wings to detirmine the actual arm. For now I'm using 70.75 for rough calc. Question 3: If there is a 'new' fwd CG, I do not have it. As stated above, the manual says 24.5". Hopes this helps and please correct me if I'm in error.
