Helicopters have a tendency to shake themselves apart. I planned to get a helicopter add-on rating where the school had two helicopters. They could never keep them flying, always in maintenance. I finally gave the idea up after one of them had a hard landing on the back of the skids and the main rotor cut the tail rotor off. Helicopters are best flown by entities with deep pockets in my opinion.
