We did did this on our IO-550N2 and had no problems in almost 500 hours. Doing the 97-3 is an iterative process and the idle mixture/rpm needs checking again after the full power check is done and anything was adjusted on that end. The parameters are also affected by temp and pressure altitude, so the tables in the SID need to be applied. Hope this helps.
