There are some very, very nice airplanes out there but I have a concern on the avionics side of things. Many of these airplanes have Cheltons installed. I have never flown with Cheltons but have heard very good things about them. My concern is that they are what they are today with no chance of a path to the future. There are a couple of Legacy airplanes for sale that I would like to pursue but the Chelton thing tells me not to go there. I would appreciate comments regarding this dilemma. Should I feel this way? I would also appreciate any suggestions about what to look for and to look out for as I seek out a Legacy to buy.
