It happened after I sent them in for a repair. They updated the software. Turns out originally one was number "0" and the other was number"1". Each unit was acting independently from each other as far as internal time keeping. After I would fly it 15+ min. I would get a Red "X" on the PFD. Once we went in and reset them to number "1" and "2", "1" could be the master and "2" was the slave. I also sent everything in and it would always bench check fine. That one was a head scratcher. Also happened during one of the buyout transitions, not a good time.
