This one is totally flush. In order to make it so, the handle
was twisted and bent a bit. Back in the day they were made of stainless,
so protect it if it is put in a vice to tweek it a bit. No finger holes at
the end are needed. Push on the forward end and the tail end comes out to
grab. Also, note the lock tumbler is flush too.
With all that extra work, I gained 0.0006 knots more speed, so I'll pull
back on the throttle and let Randy Snarr and Steve Colwell catch up.

Last week I installed a new Legacy style canopy latch kit in my
Lancair 360. While the installation is complete and seems to work very
well I now need to fair in the exterior handle. I am hoping that I can
learn from others on the list how to best accomplish this task. I would
welcome any pictures that LMLers might want to send along that would show how
their body work looks.
