That will eliminate this irritating failure mode, once and for all.< I replaced the magnetic limit switches with microswitches prior to the first flight. I made a phenolic block that slides in the same track as the magnetic switches. The phonelic has a microswitch attached. The moving rod was tapped and a roll pin installed to activate the switches. Works good and has lasted 5 years now without a hitch.
