Pic 318 clearly shows the words cabin press alarm. Assuming the airplane is a IV-P,it's a box that alarms with a light when the cabin goes below a preset altitude. No longer in production. Pic 315 looks like an ameri king voltage converter. Assuming the airplane is 12 volt it could be used to power an older 24 volt garmin 430. As Brent suggested, disconnect and see what dies.
