Dear Hamid
I posted a letter once to someone else about not letting a few people who
have not "learned to hang their head and shuffle their feet" discourage you
from sharing with the rest of us. That advice about learning to hang my
head and shuffle my feet was given me to by a very wise mentor in my early
years of Nuclear Power. I for one appreciate the detailed analysis that
you and other experts provide. If there is ever a nuclear question maybe I
can contribute.
It is very important for all our safety to have the expertise gained from
in depth professional failure analysis of our various aircraft systems.
Otherwise some of us just would not have even considered the possibility of
certain failures. Please keep up the good work and do your best to keep
smiling.
Ps; If someone did not share their ideals and comments the way Bill has,
once again some of us (me) would not have asked the questions. In my
career I have done many outright dumb things when explained to me latter by
the system engineer! Fortunately I and most of my colleagues survived,
what's that old saying about fools, drunks, and nuclear operators?
