Bolts used in securing motors to the mount and firewall should be utilizing hi-temp lock nuts.   Such nuts are generally taller than fiber lock nuts.  Thus, there is a danger of tightening them to the shoulder of the bolt and not providing the proper tension when as few as 4 threads are showing.  One should never see more than 3 threads exposed.
