 Thanks for the pics they were self-explanatory. Mine is exactly like yours
except it is still black without the crack-looking scratch,  7/8" down from
the skin to the hole.. Am I correct in assuming yours is aluminum and not
steel,  I don't think you stated which. Mine is exactly like the old-fashion
pic  except it has been shorten to 3" from the hinge line.
