Hi Randy, I share Bill's opinions.  I did the 'mod' on the bell crank before I actually flew the aircraft (235/320) but did not install the bob weight.

With 1000+ hours in a Mustang II, I can say that aircraft had very similar forces so flying the Lancair was an easy transition.

I wouldn't change anything.. fly often and enjoy the fun!  Earl

P.S. use that mod money to buy fuel!
