Hi there:

After reviewing the header tank mods that would be required (unless I went with the large stringer mounted hinges) and the added weight...I have decided to use the stock parralleogram canopy hinge for my 235.

I've got a complete forward hinge canopy kit including drawing/gas struts/hinges/hardware (sold by lancair for about $110) that I'd let go for $70 if anyone is interested.
