I am mounting my strobe generator module right now
...does anyone have any recommendations for a good location for
this<
I mounted mine right next to the battery with very short electrical leads
connected directly to the battery terminals with a wire protecting C/B of
course.  The reason is that the strobe generator is one of the common
sources of noise.  The best noise filter in the aircraft is the large
battery.  Connecting the strobe generator module to the aircraft's power
distribution bus may work in many installations without any problem but is
risking the chance for strobe noise through the headsets. Jim Frantz
