I had a couple of through bolts on the front of my case that were leaking, and the prop governor shaft plug seal. I fixed them, but then started to get the most faint of oil on the right windscreen. In 1.5-2 hours, it probably doesn't even add up to a drop's worth of oil, it's so faint, but it's there. I replaced the front seal. The seal was cracking, and clearly was a good thing to replace, and there was oil coming down from the seal. But, the new seal didn't fix it. I replaced the seal again, being more careful. Still seeing the very faint mist. Most of the top of the engine is totally dry, and nothing really too notable on the bottom either. So I'm really confused. It doesn't come from the propeller, but from somewhere aft, either near the front seal or right inlet. I've used the dye and a blacklite pen on a prior leak...that works good. I'm going to have to spring for some dye though. Sure wish there was an easy way!
