Momentary switches are a very good feature to have for a number of reasons, failure of the hydraulic pressure switch for one.
I installed 'override' switches back in the day of the VEP pressure switches. The current model is more reliable.
In flight, the benefit is being able to charge the the high side after cool down at altitude. The pressure switches have quite a bit of hysteresis. Pressure drops a few hundred psi before the switch closes. For aircraft with the Outback gear this can translate into a little gear sag. Raising the PRV and pressure switch settings will also help by moving the entire hysteresis band to higher pressure levels.

Seems to me the simplest and least expensive option would be to install a momentary on switch in the cockpit to override and close the open pressure switches.
