Ed--the lead takes up a lot of room so I used Tunisian. I got it from a metal recycle business. It is in powder form and I mixed it with fiberglass resin and hardener, poured it in. After it was hard I had to drill some out to balance the rudder. Very easy to drill.

Now balancing my control surfaces,
hoping for inspection in a few weeks.
The aerlarons and elevators are well covered in the manual
(though needed
about 1/2 lb. more lead than predicted) but I find no info
on balancing the
rudder. To completely balance will take many lbs of
lead in the
counterweight, estimate 5 or 6 lbs. What is required
here?
