Ed, the next time I'll be able to get to the airport is Saturday morning
(we're flying the Young Eagles here at Coeur d'Alene then) but I will look
at my weldment and let you know unless someone else can tell you before
that.
I think (but at my age, memory is the second thing to go - and I don't
remember what the first thing is) that the tabs lean forward while the
sticks are approximately vertical. I believe it was done to provide more up
elevator than down since the tabs come in contact with the spar when the
stick is pushed to the forward limit of travel.
Incidentally, I've got an early 235.
