I have heard 3rd hand about one incident which = resulted in the door departing and I think it hit the hstab (on the = right side). The door has a huge amount of lift and the hinges couldn't = hold it. it's not a good situation. My test pilot didn't bother with a parachute because he says the door = cannot be opened in flight.
