I live in Canada. Going to the grocery store for milk and bread can be a challenge. However, Peter (my pet beaver) is always along my side and is quick to fend off any would-be assailant. The trick is finding a parking space for my canoe close to the grocery store doors. Its not so bad 10 months of the year when everything is frozen and you can skate to the store with your wife -- then you don't have to skate faster than the assailant, just skate faster than your wife. ;)
Anyhow, flying up here is very scenic. Plan your fuel stops as we'd be lucky to have 5% of the airports you Yanks have. Also, bring money. Fuel is very expensive by comparison (although our European readers will challenge me on that). Another plus about flying here is that your airplane will never have performed better! Stick the nose up in the air and she'll climb like a homesick angel!
