It's been a few years since I had my private chechride and haven't thought about it much since.. You also need all the charts for your route of flight and a flight plan if you are traveling more than 25nm from your point of T/O. If you get ramped by a Transport Canada official this is what you need... I won't jinx myself by speaking much more about all this, other than to say it is relatively unlikely you will get ramped [they are all pretty good guys].. btw T.C. is the same as your FAA. The Customs guys in the US will request proof of insurance more than the Canadian guys.. as well as medical and licences. I can't actually remember the last time I had a Canadian customs officer ask me for anything other than a Passport. Of course, being Canadian the roles may be reversed for a US Citizen.
