Hello guys Well you perhaps did see the picture of my new panel, and it really looks g= ood,=20 but after flying with it hard IFR I have to admit that my currency on the= =20 Garmins is better than this from the Cheltons. Also to new Garmin GTN750 do= es=20 not talk to the Chelton (in other words, you can put a flight plan in both= =20 systems and can switch between the 2 systems for your autopilot). So I am thinking of selling my Chelton (3 screen system, including the WSI= =20 module) and getting either the Garmin G500 or a couple of Garmin G3X screen= s. Ron--I must agree with you.  I have= been flying my Chelton's for over five years and I have not found any thin= g to compare to the Cheltons and what they can do.  Not one time have = my Cheltons ever gone black---I can't say that for my Garmin 480 or my 496.=   Having some one work with you on the Chelton's that uses them i= s a must and once this happens you will be very pleased with them.

Ron,

You are one of many guys that I have seen with this issue. It is not t= he equipment it is the training or lack of it. How many hours of training h= ave you put in with an instructor learning to fly the Chelton? If flew Chel= tons for many years --they are a joy to fly IFR. You just need a good Chelt= on instructor. It is much cheaper than a panel swap.

Have you flown a Garmin G3X before? Same issue ..trainig. You can= not just buy one of these technical wonders and jump in.....
