Are you talking about coming out aft of the firewall or somewhere ahead = of that? To the extent the wire misses any of the holes in the two cowling = halves, I wouldn't fly until you get it resolved. There are huge pressures trying to rip that top cowling off the = airplane. Depending where it ends up it could be quite dangerous. If it's coming out in the middle of the cowling, you need to get = everything lined up carefully before you put the wire in. This may = require pressure on the side and the top at various points in the = process.
