Hello Tony,

I saw your writing on the LML concerning the Legacy landing gear problem. When I build Lancair Legacy with s/n L2K-317 (Dutch registration PH-LIS )in 2008 for a Dutch customer, I received attached email from Michelle concerning a possible welding problem on the main gear legs. I wonder if you received this email as well and I don’t understand why they didn’t make a Service Bulletin for this issue, as I understand you have received the mentioned gear legs.

Did you communicate with Lancair about your problem and what did they reply?

Hello I need a favor from you. We just received word that there may be a problem with the tabs on the main gears(top part of the mains that the hydraulic cylinder attaches to) I need you to please get me pictures of the welds so that we may look at them and make sure they are ok. I have included a few pictures of what I need so that you can get me the correct thing. If we decide that they need to be fixed we will at that time forward you all the info you need. Thanks in advance
