I'll check that too.  Thanks Earl.

My friend Bill mentioned that the brake disk could possibly be, ever so 
slightly, warped a bit, causing the brake pads to drag with the brake disk 
only at certain areas of the rotation.  I'll remove the wheel this afternoon 
and inspect both items more closely.
