Hi Pat:

After a lot of research and visits, I found the most cost effective and
long lived cutting table surface is 1/4 inch thick high density
polyethylene (white) which can also be used as a layup table for epoxy
glass wetting out since the epoxy that sticks or spills off the plastic
sheeting can be removed with a putty knife.  I made table from a sheet
of 4/8 plywood with a 45 degree cut along one end (since most of the
glass is cut at a 45 degree angle) and a simple rack to hold the roll of
fiberglass at the other end.  You will cut off a big chunk of poly
(triangular, 45 degree angles at base) you can also put on the cutting
table and use for epoxy layups.  I eventually shortened my table from 8
feet to 6 feet long to fit into into a corner.  The 1/4 inch material is
also preferred for the landing gear door sliders on the LIV.
