Christian,

Is that ID plate location legal?  Do you have another one on the outside of
the plane?

Was there no room to put the nav antenna in the wing tip?

Subject: [LML] Fwd: Nav antenna
Hi
I'm having trouble with my Nav antenna in my 360 airframe.
It is mounted above the rear bulkhead as seen in the picture.
Reception works fine over 100NM except exactly forward and rearwards
(357°- to 3° and about 177° to 183°)I guess it is shielded by the engine and
carbon horizontal.
First I installed the Bob Archer antenna long wards from front to rear,
then I lowered the aluminum strips downwards. Now it works a little better.
To the sides I have perfect reception.
I really don't want to install an antenna on the outside of the plane, but
it would be my last chance to get a good reception.
Thank you for your help,

Christian

P.S.
There is an additional bulkhead in the back which is not in the plans to
stiffen the tail.
