Just FYI for those flying "older" 320/360. (Or maybe even the 235, not sure how they work.)
My over center springs were very worn out, causing the spring to come off the link when retracted. This problem was masked by the other "screen door" springs I have attached to the over center link. Emergency extensions were working fine. The only indication of a problem was finding the spring in the wrong place during preflight.
Got some new springs and was pretty shocked to see the difference. (Pic Attached) My springs are probably original with the kit, soo 16ish years old and about 700 airframe hours.
