I had my panel wired at Lancair, too. I also have the adjustable pot for pit=
ch trim. It does absolutely nothing. When I called Lancair to complain, they=
 suggested it would make a difference under air loads. Really? How do I test=
 that? The fact is that it just doesn't work. Never has. Is it wired incorre=
ctly? Don't know.

Still, the airplane is quite flyable as is. I, too, merely "bump" the trim s=
witch when in cruise. It's darn sensitive, but you get used to it. At patter=
n speeds, it's not a problem.

Could I get it switched off in a timely manner in the case of a runaway? Goo=
d question.
