That sounds about right and Ed Martin's Legacy = here is working the right way. Mine and others at 6 seconds means that = you have about 3 seconds from level flight to full deflection in a = runaway. That's not enough to activate the safety cutout or manually = find a disconnect. On a night approach or close to the ground that just = isn't going to be detectable before things go wrong. So, I'm still = looking for the right wiring, I had my panel wired by Lancair Avionics = but the box that controls the trim has no label and the pot that is = supposed to control speed only stops the pitch trim so it isn't working = properly.
