Lots of $100 hamburger flights (in the summer) and several trips each year from my home field in Coeur d'Alene (Pappy Boyington Field) to cenral California to visit my niece and nephew in Santaq Rosa. Planning a trip to southern Texas this coming summer to visit old friends and to just enjoy the experience. The only thing I've done as a result of flying at this age is to add oxygen to N235SP for cruise legs - which for my 235 is best at 9.5 to 12.5 k - a small price in my opinion. I once promised the wife, in a unthinking moment when I was much younger, that I'd hang up the ticket when I turned 80 - assuming I was still around at the time - but the closer I get to it the more I'm inclined to let that slip my mind. I'm now inclined to fly as long as the AME signs the medical each two years. Keep flying! Dan Schaefer -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
