Hey,I'm
almost 83 and still flying my Lancair every day the sun shines. I did stop flying Young Eagles at 80 but that was just to be sure the
parents were comfortable. I was still flying the Loving's Love racer, deHavilland Comet racer and Firecracker racer when I was in my mid
70's. As long as my doc says "go", I'll be doing it. If you keep active flying until you pass 80, you can join the national
UFO (United Flying Octogenarians) organization. It's a hoot and you'll hear some of the greatest flying stories ever told. I
understand a few of them are even true.
