I like the nice looking self-adhesive data sticker available from Don Barnes. Thin, light, zero drag, easy, no holes, custom and permanent. What’s not to like. I'm looking for a solution to permanently attach my data plate to the airframe. The surface will have paint and clear coat which means an area the size of the plate will need to be scuffed up in order for adhesive to bond correctly. Have others done it this way? How about a very thin (5mils) or so double sided adhesive tape? Rivets are really not an option.
