I'm looking for a solution to permanently attach my data plate to= the airframe. The surface will have paint and clear coat which means an ar= ea the size of the plate will need to be scuffed up in order for adhesive t= o bond correctly. Have others done it this way? How about a very thin (5mil= s) or so double sided adhesive tape? Rivets are really not an option.
