Ipad worked great KSTS-KVGT round trip at FL190 and 16500 and KST-KMYF rou=
nd trip at again FL190 and 16500. It acquired signal mid flight and matche=
d GS,altitude and track with the Garmin 430.

Has anyone actually used an IPAD up there and how did it work?  Back a
couple years ago I tried that HP5550 PDA and a blue toothed GPS and XM
antenna for weather.  It was junk.  The reason ultimately was proven to be
the touch screen would deflect with the pressure changes and lead to
spurious commands.  HP actually wanted to check the device in their
barometric chamber and determined the design flaw wasn't fixable.  I went=
 to
a 496 and it has been bullet proof.  I would appreciate any thoughts on th=
e
ipad.
