Didn't they deliberately crash a passenger jet (B727, B737 or B747, I
can't remember which) to test some new fangled way of keeping the fuel
from igniting? The test's failure was pretty dramatic.
I understand the temptation to use this foam, but your bird can only
carry so much weight. Just don't crash and your fuel will only ignite
when you want it to.

I'm wondering if anyone has researched/thought about fuel containment in
the event of a crash.
For example, I have foam in my aux tank because it was made by fuel safe
and that's just the way they make their tanks. I didn't put any foam
in my main tanks. But here's a possibility:

A fuel dump option might also be interesting but that leaves highly
explosive fumes in the tanks.....
