The cost is $9.99 per month and all the data can be downloaded directly to your iPad using WiFi. The program includes approach plates, SIDs, STARs, airport diagrams, etc. It also includes Low and High Altitude Enroute Charts and Sectionals. With 3G or an external GPS your location can be displayed on the charts. Navigating between the various screens is simple and approach plates are organized in a logical fashion by airport 3 letter identifier. Check Lists and other documents can also be incorporated into the program. If you have an iPad and are looking for software to use in the cockpit, I suggest you give Reader Plates a look.
