Dear subscribers,

I am using a bnc regulator on a TSIO550 with a = teledyne alternator on my 4P.

I rewired the complete airplane so I can not = completely exclude an installation error from my problem. =

My symtoms:

I turn on the master switch (engine off) and my low = volt light is continuously on. I add heavy electrical load and the light = starts to flash. – Everything good so far.

I turn on my engine but the continous low volt light = does not go off. When I add all the available electrical load that I have and = let the engine idle at low rpm I get the flashing from the light – = when I increase the rpm the flashing turns into a steady light again  (I = also see 28V on my VM1000 and the amps that the alternator is feeding = back)

Bnc checked my regulator and they told me it tested = ok.

I connected my F1 terminal at the alternator to = ground. The F2 terminal from the alternator is connected to the = regulator.

If you would have any idea of what I am doing wrong = here please let me know

Thanks

Ralf
