I'm looking for a Lancair 320 pilot that would be interested in making a couple bucks in the Sarasota area.
I am a military pilot at McConnell AFB in wichita, ks. I have 4500 hrs. flying kc-135, t-37, t-38 and fixed prop. I have my commercial, instrument, multi, and single engine ratings.
My insurance company said I will need 3 hrs. flying with a Lancair pilot before solo - doesn't have to be an instructor. I had an instructor lined up earlier this week so I flew down yesterday but he can't fly with me now.
I had an A&P do a thorough prepurchase inspection yesterday and it is airworthy and ready to fly. The owner is an ex-Luftwaffe ME-109 pilot and lost his medical (he's 84).
