In what is certainly a tragic story which will undoubtedly be in the national news, let's not lose sight of the fact that Ed did one hell of a job making an emergengy landing in an extremis situation.  His plane looks intact and there were no injuries onboard.  I'm sure the whole Lancair community shares in the grief for the unfortunate jogger, but kudos to Ed for a nice piece of airmanship.
