Having flown into Sun 'n Fun for the past 10 years I have seen a few interesting things, some of which I would rather like to avoid in the future. If you want to arrive on the 13th a co-pilot or good lookout can be valuable as some pilots come into the pattern as they please with zero communication and or no clue of what they should be doing. Read the arrival information and be sure you are clear on the procedures. Since this is your first visit to this great event, I would suggest going early. There will be much less congestion mid day on the 12th. In any event I believe you will enjoy Sun 'n Fun.
