Sorry to say but you have to lift the engine to be able to sl= ide the SDA back far enough to come off the studs.

I know there was some discussion a while back about sta= rter drive issues, but I can't find any specifics.  I've developed a p= roblem where the starter slips and won't engage, so I suppose I'm a victim = of the TCM problem at 400hr TT.  Is is possible to remove the adapter = without moving the engine forward?  I have an A/C pump on the back of = the engine too, so it's very packed behind the engine.  I'm not even s= ure what to remove.  Anyone have some ideas to make this as easy as possible?   Any photos?
