[Rather than reposting all that's been said about it already, I'd suggest that you go to the archives (http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/lml/List.html) and do a search on Reichel Trim.... there's been lots of discussion recently and reviewing the last vew weeks' posts will help get you up to speed.  To briefly answer your question, though, the unit is designed to provide precise control over a spring-biased elevator trim system.  <Marv>    ]
