I've advised all IVP, IVPT and ES owners to install this kit using as much weight internal to the fuselage as possible. There has been a Lancair service bulletin in the past for loose elevator hinges. The mass balance weight in the elevators is a major factor especially on piston powered planes. If you ever taxi behind one of these aircraft and watch the H-stab shake you would probably agree. The H-stab begins to oscillate and is subjected to this flywheel effect due to the large weight in the elevators and rudder. I also recommend the V-stab fairing from the Sentry on all of these planes as it adds additional stiffness to the aft fuselage. I've installed Three.
