Does anyone have experience using an I phone with the Zulu
headsets? I use a basic LG phone right now that will not work well with
the patch cord but performs OK via the blue tooth so I can both transmit and receive
phone calls thru the headset. In the past I’ve tried to use a complex
phone/PDA combination with Lightspeed and never was able to get compatibility
between the devices – might have been the older G3 headset, but it was
frustrating and although Lightspeed was very helpful in sending several
different patch cords, the problem was never solved and I was not able to make phone
calls with that phone through my Lightspeed headset.
I’m considering getting an I phone and wonder if
anyone has comments about the above and additionally the usefulness of some of
the GPS and other apps that may be helpful backup during flight.
