There is a plastic protective film on those.  That is not what you are
referring to is it??  I it is, it just peels off.

Subject: [LML] SL-30 Part

Anyone know if/how you can order parts for an Apollo SL-30?

The part I need is the transparent amber plastic cover on the front of the
unit that covers the numeric LEDs. Mine has slowly curled at the ends and is
peeling off. The SL-70 just below is okay, however, so it seems the batch of
glue used on the SL-30 cover was not as good as on the SL-70. Is this part
something that can be ordered? Mine has curled too much to be re-glued.

I checked the Garmin website, and they just show a flat fee of about $450
for repair of an SL-30.

Anyone know how to go about getting this part?

Thanks.
