Most european washing machines have a pressure switch to sense waterdepth to make sure there is
water when heat is on. These machines only connects to cold water. This pressure corresponds to approx 50-100 kts pitot and can be adjusted
with a screw on the sensor. Talk to your local appliance service place. Maytag hooks up to hot water and has no heating. I use
a similar circuit, but connect the NC terminals together instead of having the IC's. I use flap>10 (no aispeed). Same function but simpler (ie
better). With my fixed prop if I forget both gear and flap it is impossible not to overshoot the runway. With a CS it may be better to use
airspeed. I use an airspeed swith to ensure the gear can not be retracted on the ground. I can post a schematic in the week if
you are interested. Sven J Lancair 320 SE-XOP
