For those who want the ultimate in-flight fire protection, we make this little device for the US Navy called a solid rocket fuel propelled ejection seat.  There is documented proof it works quite well in a hangar, so I feel with a little ingenuity a jetable canopy would not be required.  Unfortunately the individual who tested the in-hangar ejection was not wearing a parachute.  So…you are encouraged to purchase a parachute as well.  Additionally, we do not supply the solid rocket fuel propellant, so you are on your own there as well.  Before you dismiss the entire idea, think of some of the other possibilities……”If you don’t stop complaining……poof they are gone.”

Hopefully you were up for some levity.
