That may require the removeal of the rod end on the idler assembly which connects the rear torque tube or the idler assembly. I only had to remove the rear most torque tube from the idler arm to get clearance. Yes it is a pain. Let me save you the shock of discovering the other part of the story.... You have to do it again to put on the forward most attachment for the pitch servo cable if you install an auto pilot which requires one. Then you will have two little one inch high pieces of aluminum, about three feet apart, hanging off one side of the tube to maneuver under the elevator idler assembly and through the seat back but mine did make it through the same way, barely. I suppose you could try to drill and rivet those pieces to the tube while it is inside the airplane but I would have gotten it wrong if I had tried that approach.
